STC Mid Valley Campus Graduation Convocation

South Texas College is set to recognize the college's spring 2008 Mid-Valley Campus graduates on Friday, May 2, 2008 at its annual Mid-Valley Campus Graduation Convocation. The convocation begins at 6 p.m. and will take place at STC's Mid-Valley Campus Pavilion located at 400 North Border in Weslaco. Admission is free and open to the public. To help honor graduates, STC Board of Trustees member Roy de Leon will be the keynote speaker. "We are so excited to celebrate this milestone for hundreds of Mid-Valley students that have reached a real milestone in their academic careers and in life," said Monte Churchill, site coordinator for STC's Mid-Valley Campus. "Our Mid-Valley Campus is providing students in the area the opportunity to get a world-class education close to home. Many of our students juggle the demands of work and family with their education and yet they still manage to prevail. I am very proud of each and every one and look forward to celebrating their achievements with the entire Mid-Valley community."
