Car Show, Arts & Crafts Show, and Air Show Coming Soon!

Time is drawing near for the Texas Onion Fest to host the “Custom Classic Truck & Car Show” sponsored by South Texas Vo-Tech on Saturday, April 4, from 10 am to 6 pm at Weslaco City Park, 300 N. Airport Dr. A line-up of custom SUVs and trucks, and classic cars and trucks will be on display for all to see.

Then fix your eyes on a variety of displays at the H-E-B Arts & Crafts Tent. Vendors will be selling unique handcrafted items and value priced gifts like jewelry, purses, paintings, books, CDs, and much more.

See model airplanes take to the sky at the R/C Airshow in the Charro Arena at Texas Onion Fest. The air show is presented by the Tejas Radio Control Association, a local organization dedicated to the building and flying of radio controlled (R/C) model airplanes.

Spectators can watch the show before and after the Dancing Horse Shows scheduled at 1 pm and 3 pm on Saturday, April 4. The airplanes will be grounded in the afternoon for the public to view up close.
