Weslaco Chamber Seeks Volunteers

Thousands of visitors flock to the Rio Grande Valley every year with the most renowned being the Winter Texans. The Weslaco Area Chamber of Commerce is awaiting the return of the winter residents and preparing for the influx of visitors to the Business Visitors Center on Railroad Street near downtown Weslaco. 

Martha Noell, Chamber CEO said every year volunteers help the Chamber staff keep the center going, especially during the busy season.  “The winter months are the busiest for us.  Last winter we had almost 8,575 tourists visit our center,” stated Noell. 

The Chamber is looking for volunteers who are able to give of their time to help the staff with the influx of visitors to the center.  Noell went on to say that the Chamber is grateful for the generous help and support of the community.
