Weslaco Christmas Parade - "A Rock Band" Christmas

The Weslaco Chamber of Commerce Mid Valley Lighted Christmas Parade Committee has chosen a fun new theme for the 2009 Parade. "A Rock Band" Christmas - as it is timely with video gaming being so popular yet is a lot of fun with so many generations of people who can relate to rock and roll music. The Weslaco Chamber of Commerce invites the valley community to participate in the Mid Valley Lighted Christmas Parade to be held Friday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. along Texas Blvd. Floats, antique cars, marching bands, dancers, clown groups, and equestrians are welcome. Entry forms may be picked up at the Weslaco Chamber, 301 W. Railroad St., the intersection of Business 83 and Texas Blvd. Deadline to EXTENDED TO TUESDAY DEC 1, 2009. Call 968-2102 for more information. ### The Weslaco Area Chamber of Commerce works for the development and voice of business success in Weslaco by providing opportunities for all businesses and individuals who invest in the community. The Chamber was established in 1935 and is celebrating its 75th Anniversary in the 2009-2010 year.
