Week 7 2010 Natural History Speaker Series

The Valley Nature Center along with the Weslaco Area Chamber of Commerce presents the 7th Week of the 2010 Natural History Series at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Valley Nature Center located on 301 S. Border in Weslaco. This week’s presentation will be

     The Last Chance Forever: Birds of Prey Conservancy and Rehabilitation Center from San Antonio, a non-profit organization that rehabilitates injured and orphaned birds of prey. Featuring Kelly Raynor, a full time Last Chance Forever employee and rehabilitator.
 
     These Raptors are at the pinnacle of the food chain, and are indicators of the health of our environment.  Discover how these awesome creatures live life soaring the skies, hunting for food, and ruling the aerial world.
