Weslaco Staycation Packages Announced

The Weslaco Area Chamber of Commerce will be participating in the Valley’s Staycation promotion again.

The Hidalgo County Tourism Coop coordinates and promotes the Staycation project throughout the Valley and on the web to entice residents and visitors to discover the great things to see and do right here close to home. You don’t have to travel far to enjoy the summer with Staycation packages offering hotel and activity packages bundled together, creating a savings for the vacationer.

Weslaco’s Staycation packages include hotels, restaurants and retailers who are providing discounts to people who participate in the promotion. The Best Western Palm Air Motor Inn and Suites and the Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites in Weslaco are offering great prices for people who say they want to Staycation in Weslaco. There are many other participants including Mama’s Garden Cottage, Ron and Nancy’s Little Italy, Mustang Lounge, Cisnero’s Jewelers and Bugambilias Marketplace among other local eateries and retailers.
