Weslaco Beautiful recognizes Commercial and Residential Beautification Awards for April

WESLACO - Weslaco Beautiful, a committee of the Weslaco Area Chamber of Commerce, awarded their selections for the Commercial and Residential Beautification awards for the month of April. 

The winner of April’s Commercial Beautification award in Weslaco was Dairy Queen, located at 916 N. Texas Blvd.  “It feels great to be recognized,” commented Albert Solis, District Manager.  “I know our staff has been working hard at maintaining the grounds, so the recognition is appreciated.”

Lifelong Weslaco resident Billylynn Clark was the recipient of April’s Residential Beautification award located at 1107 W. Ash.  The spacious yard is filled with several different types of plants, trees and flowers.  Mrs. Clark says she planted everything herself, but now has help maintaining it. 

Weslaco Beautiful was established to develop and expand the awareness of recycling and litter prevention and work for the beautification and preservation of Weslaco's natural resources.
