Small business owners are invited to attend a free Wage & Hour seminar at the Weslaco Area Chamber of Commerce on March 11, from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The workshop is designed to give business owners a better understanding of labor laws. A US Department of Labor Wage & Hour representative will discuss the applicability of federal labor laws, record keeping requirements, Minimum Wage and Overtime requirements, hours worked, Regulation 541, and child labor regulations.
Pre-registration is required. To sign up for this seminar or for further information, please call SBDC at (956) 292-7535 or the Chamber at (956) 968-2102.
