Keep Weslaco Clean, Adopt a Park!

Do you want to help keep Weslaco parks clear of litter and trash? Weslaco Beautiful is seeking clubs, service groups, scouts, families, etc, to sign up to Adopt-a-Park and pick up trash on a regular basis.

The parks in Weslaco include Weslaco City Park, Harlon Block Sports Complex, Isaac Rodriguez Park, La Plazita, Cavazos Park, and Gibson Park. The Parks and Recreation Department for Weslaco has trash bags, grabbers, and vests available for the anti-litter teams to use while they work in their park.
If you are interested in participating, contact the Weslaco Chamber at 968-2102. Please be ready to provide the number of people in your group and whether it is adults, young people, etc. We suggest the teams clean-up the parks once a month and will be asked to set-up their own schedule.
