Applications for the 2008-2009 Leadership Mid-Valley Program Available
The Leadership Mid Valley program targets individuals who desire to further develop leadership skills and expand their knowledge about the concerns, opportunities and challenges of the Mid Valley area. Applications are now available for those interested in participating in the program, scheduled from October through May.
The program’s tuition cost is $400. Tuition fee includes meals, transportation, and speakers. Application deadline is August 11, 2008. Sessions will be held the third Thursday of each month from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., except the October session which is a retreat in Alamo, Texas. Participants must attend at least seven of the nine sessions. The leadership retreat in Alamo is mandatory.
All participants must have lived or worked in Mid Valley area for one year prior to September 1st. Publicly elected officials are not eligible for the class.
