Texas Onion Fest announces 2009 Miss Onion Fest Pageant Winners

Twenty-four contestants competed for one of three titles in the Miss Onion Fest Pageant on Friday, March 6, in conjunction with the 20th Annual Texas Onion Fest, April 3 & 4 at Weslaco City Park. The upcoming festival will feature musical performances, dancing horse shows, family area, kiddie rides, food, arts and crafts, a Guitar Hero World Tour Tournament and onion eating contests! Gate admission $5/adults; $4/seniors; and $2/children. Free parking available. Congratulations to all of this year's pageant participants and Roxy Lynn Ybarra for receiving the People’s Choice Award.
