Weslaco Beautiful Recognizes Proud Homeowner

Richard Lehman’s thoughtful use of color and design in his home’s landscape earned him the May Residential Beautification Award. His garden surrounding his home, 1003 Missouri Street, attracts birds and butterflies with an air of imagination to make this house a home.

The entryway leads up to the front porch with a display of colorful coleus, impatiens, gerber daises, and day lilies. Mulch and drip irrigation surrounds most of the plants to keep down weeds, conserve water, and build the soil.
