Join the Weslaco Museum for an opening reception on Saturday, June 13, 1:00 to 4 pm, as they unveil The Virginia Lehman Art Exhibition. Virginia is remembered as an inspirational educator and her love of life is portrayed through her beautiful artwork.
Dozens of her paintings will be on display at the Weslaco Museum through July. They even include a drawing of a train when she was only two years old. Her more mature works include portraits, landscapes, still life, and many other subjects.
In addition to her paintings, several notebooks of her school prom sketches will be shown, as will a stained glass display with tafetta providing the look of art glass that was a student art project.
