“Terminal Tunes Summer Music Program”

Calling all musicians! The McAllen-Miller International Airport is seeking musicians interested in participating in the airport’s Terminal Tunes Summer Music Program.

This program is for soloists or groups interested in showcasing their musical talent for the traveling public, meeters and greeters and employees at the McAllen-Miller International Airport. 

The location of all performances will be the main lobby of the McAllen-Miller International Airport. All performances are non-compensated performances.  Performers will be allowed to collect tips or donations.

For the months of July and August, the scheduled dates and times available are:

·                     Sundays, 10:00 a.m. to noon 

·                     Mondays, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

·                     Tuesdays, 10:00 a.m. to noon

·                     Wednesdays, 10:00 a.m. to noon and 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

·                     Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. to noon and 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

·                     Fridays, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

·                     Saturdays, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Musicians wishing to participate are required to submit a Terminal Tunes Summer Music Program Application along with a demo tape, CD or DVD.  Submissions will be reviewed by the Airport staff.  The Airport reserves the right to approve or reject any submission.  Groups may be limited by space constraints. All performances must be appropriate for the airport’s public audience.  All types of music are encouraged.  Performers are responsible for bringing, setting up and removing their own equipment.
