Chili's announces program to raise money for local organizations

WESLACO, TX – Chili’s Grill and Bar, a proud member of the Weslaco/Mid-Valley community since 2003, is promoting an opportunity for local organizations to raise money simply by enjoying some great food and drinks.

“Chili’s Night” is a night where Chili’s partners with a local organization to raise funds. It is a simple fundraiser with little effort needed on the organization’s part. Once a date is agreed upon, Chili’s provides the organization with a hard copy and electronic copy of a “flyer.” The organization can make unlimited copies to distribute to family, friends, and associates to encourage participation on their specified night. As guests dine in they will need to present the flyer and pay like normal. At the end of the night, Chili’s will add up all the guest checks with a flyer attached to it and donate 10% of that total to the organization.

“We are very excited about this program,” said Rob Neagle, Managing Partner at the Chili’s Grill and Bar, 1412 West Expressway in Weslaco. “We’ve made raising money for our neighbors a simple and delicious experience!”

“We’ve already had successful Chili’s Nights with several organizations, including the Horizon Montessori School and the Multiple Sclerosis Society of South Texas just to name a couple,” said Neagle. “The amount of money you can raise is unlimited; it depends on how aggressively the organization markets the fundraiser.”

“Bring in as many people as you can,” he continued. “ I promise we won’t run out of delicious baby back ribs, sizzling fajitas, or hand shaken Presidente Margaritas!”
