Why: Hidalgo County will grow by nearly one million people in the next twenty-five years.

Your participation indicates a commitment to improving mobility choices, sustaining economic prosperity and improving quality of life in Hidalgo County.

What to expect:

The result of multiple public workshops and consultant expertise is a transportation and land use vision for the Lower Rio Grande Valley that is visionary, yet achievable. The open house affords you an up-close look into the future of Hidalgo County and will provide opportunities for you to get involved in brining the vision to life.

The meeting is come and go as you like, but a brief presentation will be made at 6:00 PM. Consultants, HCMPO staff and elected officials will be on-hand to answer questions individually and share in the vision.
