MY SEPTEMBER is the story of true events that culminated on September 11, 2001, 3,000 miles away from New York City. The events that followed that fateful day caused one RGV family to not only remember that horrendous occasion for the World Trade Center attacks, but as a day that shook their entire family’s livelihood down to the core.

The movie is about Gideon Marquez who was abandoned at a young age with the responsibility of caring for his two younger siblings, Ricky and Sara, after their parents died by tragic means. It was a day-to-day struggle for the Marquez Family, living on their self-proclaimed credo of “family first.”

"MY SEPTEMBER" is proud to boast local cast and crew as well as RGV comedic stars Raymond Orta and Mario "Superstar" Salazar. The film also features music from professional recording artists such as the valleys own Ray Perez and Slim Twin.
