Road Conditions
With the water level receding along the Floodway system, TxDOT continues to keep the following roads closed for the next few weeks to evaluate the condition of the roadway pavement and bridges and make the needed repairs. TxDOT will re-open the roads and bridges when they have been field inspected and they are safe for the traveling public.
Motorists are asked not to move, tamper with or drive around barriers blocking a low-water crossing. Penalties rangefrom $200 to $1,000 &/or 2 yrs in jail. The barriers are there for the safety of the traveling public.

We are working with state emergency management officials and local officials to provide TxDOT resources and expertise necessary to ensure the safety of all Texas residents.
