Valley Nature Center's Brew in the Woods set for September 22

Come enjoy a variety of specialty beers, home brew, brew pub styles and more… on the torch lit nature trails of the Valley Nature Center!  On Saturday, September 22, at 6;00 to 9:00 pm, help the VNC reach its New Building Fund goal while enjoying the company of good friends and cool taste of some brew!  A most enjoyable evening in the woods!

The Valley Nature Center, a non-profit environmental education facility and a 501 (c) 3 organization, is in the process of building a state of the art education center filled with interactive awe-inspiring exhibits. The building is planned to be a 7,500 sq. foot L.E.E.D.’s certified green building. Nature trails and a wetland have already been established.

The Valley Nature Center conducts numerous programs, events, and school group programs throughout the year to engage children of all ages with nature and the great Rio Grande Valley Outdoors. Children are closely connected to technology and losing a sense for the natural world.
