Weslaco Lions Club hosting "2008 Tree Planting Project"

The Weslaco Lions Club invites people in the community to join them in "planting a tree". With your permission, the Weslaco Lions can plant an oak tree in your yard, business, or any place of your choice. If you don't have a place and you would like to support the beautification of Weslaco, you can dedicate a tree in honor of a special person or family that will be planted at the new CIty of Weslaco Harlon Block Park. To participate, pick up a Tree Purchase/Dedication Request Form at the Weslaco Chamber, fill it out and mail it with a $100 donation check to the Weslaco Lions Club.
