Dragonfly Family Nature Day, May 10
The Valley Nature Center in Weslaco invites you to attend our Dragonfly Family Nature Day in the Park on Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be several fun and educational activities and an activity card will be punched as each is completed.
If all activities are completed the card will go into a drawing to win a surprise bag, VNC Family Membership and a gift card to the VNC Gift Shop. Each child completing their card will also receive a small nature creature. There will be a nature talk, guided nature trail walks and kids’ crafts.
This event is sponsored by Texas State Bank-Weslaco, Holiday Inn Express-Weslaco, Starbucks S. 10th - McAllen, Valero, International Bank, Burton Auto Supply - Weslaco, Sunny Phillips in Memory of Ray Bieber, Ag Credit of South Texas, UPS Store-Weslaco, Valley Grande Institute, Frost Bank, Southern Landscapes, Cortez Hotel-Weslaco, Border Capital Bank, Alamo Inn, Neighborhood Doctor, Allied Waste Systems and the Mid Valley Town Crier.
