Onion Fest Pageant

The Onion Festival Pageant was held on Friday, February 29, at 7 pm. at Mary Hoge Middle School. Twenty-two contestants competed for one of three titles. Congratulations to all of this year's participants and Faith Nicole Olszak for receiving the People Choice Award.

Miss Onion Fest Court, pictured from left to right, Alyssa Christine Serna, second runner-up, daughter of Eddie and Kim Serna; Alyssa Hernandez, 2008 Miss Onion Fest Queen, daughter of Abel and Linda Hernandez; and Jamie Aileen Muniz, first runner- up, daughter of Sonia Ozuna and Jaime Muniz. Most Photogenic was awarded to Jamie Aileen Muniz.

Most Photogenic was awarded to Sarah Neal.

Springsweet Miss Court, pictured from left to right, Brianna Andrea de Leon, second runner-up, daughter of Hugo and Mary Alice de Leon; Briana Nicole Zavala, 2008 Springsweet Miss, daughter of Ruben and Debbie Zavala; and Kelsey A. Lopez, first runner-up, daughter of George and Michelle Lopez. Most Photogenic was awarded to Kelsey A. Lopez.
