About Summer Internship Program
The Weslaco Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center Summer Internship Program offers students a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in a dynamic, professional setting. Interns will work closely with Chamber staff to learn about event planning, marketing and digital media, business management, tourism, and hospitality. Through this program, participants will develop valuable skills, build professional connections, and gain insight into how the Chamber supports and promotes the local business community and tourism efforts.

1) Who should apply?
This program is open for enrolled college students currently in their Junior or Senior year of college or Master level. (dual/concurrent enrollment while in High School does not apply)
2) Is this a paid internship?
Yes, this is a paid internship program.
3) How long is in this internship?
Students typically begin work in June and have the opportunity to stay on board until the end of August. (subject to funding)
